Selontra® is an innovative high performance, non-anticoagulant rodenticide bait which can control an infestation in as few as seven days, even in the most challenging situations. Its highly palatable formulation means it is effective even when highly attractive alternate food sources are available. Its active ingredient, cholecalciferol, has a stop-feeding effect, causing rodents to cease feeding and moving around a day after a lethal dose of Selontra® has been eaten. This lack of movement quickly stops the rodent spreading disease, reduces damage to property, and prevents additional contamination. BASF also has Sorgene Xtra, a highly effective broad spectrum disinfectant with DEFRA approvals and Neosorexa Gold, a loose grain rodenticide bait with Fortec technology, which offers reliable rodent control through a better understanding of their natural feeding behaviour.
