EASYFIX provides environmental enrichment devices for pigs of all ages. Our 'Luna' devices consist of a rubber ball in the centre which has up to twelve legs extending outwards to provide the pigs with a moveable and rollable object. This mobility helps to generate a sense of food search and exploration for pigs which mimics their natural environment. The rubber legs attract the pigs and encourage them to interact with the toys and eventually bite and chew them, with the toys able to entertain up to six pigs at any one time. As the pigs grow quickly so does their strength and that's why EASYFIX has developed four models with different sizes and strengths: Luna 50 - for piglets (0-4 weeks)
Luna 86 - for first stage weaners (4-7 weeks)
Luna 117 - for second stage weaners (7-12 weeks)
Luna 142 - for finishers/sows (12-26 weeks)
Each toy is made of food-quality plastic and complies with REACH regulations. EASYFIX also offers a suspended pig toy that is called the 'Astro 200'. The Astro 200 can be hung from a wall or beam in fattening/finishing pens to keep them entertained and to avoid bites to the pigs' tails, ears and sides. This toy is flexible, durable and provides good bite and chew quality. The Astro 200 is used worldwide, including on university research farms and commercial farms throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America.
